3rd place in the ranking of Germany’s top employers: Piening Personal is proud to have received the ‘Top Job’-award for the seventh time - now for the first time with a place on the winners' podium. Every year, the University of St. Gallen honors the best employers in Germany's medium-sized businesses. On Friday, Managing Director Holger Piening accepted the trophy in Berlin.

Around 7,000 employees work for the Bielefeld-based family business Piening Personal, whose services include temporary employment, personnel placement and outsourcing. The personnel service provider has been on the market for over 40 years and is now one of the largest in its sector. A key to success: satisfied employees who work as a team and help each other. "If you want to attract and retain employees, you have to be able to inspire them," emphasizes Holger Piening, who is the second generation of the family to head the company as managing partner. ‘This is deeply rooted in our corporate culture - across all 85 locations.’

Holger Piening sees the fact that Piening Personal has not only once again achieved the seal of quality, but has also improved with each participation in the benchmark as a confirmation of the values, which are an integral part of the grown corporate culture. This also includes giving his employees room to contribute ideas and to actively shape their own working environment. ‘A special feature is our Digital Task Force - the Piening Pioneers. In this interdisciplinary team, employees - from dual students to managers - work together to find, evaluate and implement digital trends for the company. That way, we drive digitalization in our company and involve as many employees as possible’.

Piening Personal has always attached central importance to its commitment to support its employees in their professional development. In order to give this aspect more weight, all offers were bundled in the Piening Academy last year. A learning management system is used there, which offers employees the opportunity to continue their training at any time. In addition, the company offers its employees specific programs for their further development. The Piening Academy also gives employees on customer assignments the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally - keeping with one of Holger Piening's principles: ‘Those who can and want to develop may do so at Piening.’
